Who do we see?

The Messenger Center serves people of all ages, race, and gender who struggle with every day problems.

While some struggles are more obvious than others, most people go through their days, months and years with elevated stress levels that are contributed to by a variety of issues such as: anxiety, depression, mood swings, poor anger control, grief due to loss of loved ones, parenting concerns and many other stressors that can cause lasting damage to our physical and emotional health.

Below are examples of people we serve:

  •  A 4 yr old female child exhibits acting out behaviors and has been sexually abused by a relative.
  • An 8 yr. old male child exhibits poor anger control and lives with a volatile father.
  • A adult female struggles with food binging and is a survivor of childhood sexual/physical violence .
  • A college student placed on academic probation due to extreme absences and a sudden decline of grades.
  • A male dealing with the impact of marital separation and primary caretaker of children.
  • A mother exhibits depressed symptoms, which impact home and job performance.
  • Parents disagree on child rearing disciplines with children
  • A teenager exhibits multiple addictions to porn and substance abuse.

While most of these situations seem obvious reasons to seek help through mentoring or counseling, many people are unaware of the benefits achieved from asking for this type of education and guidance.

Through mentoring and educational training, our clients learn to maintain balance in their own lives, so they are more available to function within their families and work environments.
